About The Treatment
We are not born with phobias these are learnt experiences generally from when we were younger when something happened to use or we witnessed something happening to another person. However it started, it is reassuring to know that it can be dealt with and you do not always have to feel this way. Hypnotherapy is an excellent way to safely talk to those anxious feelings that dwell within our subconscious mind and unlearn the fear response to a certain object or situation, building a tolerance and easing away the anxiety.

When you are forced to interact with your phobia or even sometimes just thinking about it can bring on symptoms of:

We try and give ourselves a good talking to but you will still react in the same way unless you change the associated feeling or emotion that is linked to your phobia. Using hypnosis, we will put you into a comfortable, relaxed, calm state in order to communicate with your subconscious mind. Sharon will guide you carefully through the session, maybe finding out the root cause of the phobia or remembering an event that triggered your reaction, or not. We will move onto to techniques that will help you to adjust your emotional response to your phobia, while you remain fully in control of the situation.
